14 States. 14 Causes. One Trail.
Trail of Giving is a Wild Women Wanderers initiative turning miles on the Appalachian Trail into miles that matter. As we journey along the Appalachian Trail, we are dedicating each of its 14 states to a different cause, using adventure to raise awareness, inspire others, and give back to communities along the way.
This journey is a about more than reaching summits or checking miles off a map. It's about showing what can happen when women come together with purpose. Throughout the journey, Wild Women Wanderers will hike sections of the Appalachian Trail while highlighting causes that matter to our communities.
Each state brings a new trail, a new challenge, and a new opportunity to make an impact.
Georgia - Colorectal Cancer Awareness
North Carolina - Suicide Prevention & Awareness
Tennessee - Child Abuse Awareness
West Virginia - Alzheimer's and Dementia
Pennsylvania - Animal Rescue and Shelter
New York - Semper Fi and America's Fund
Vermont - GirlVentures
Virginia - Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Maryland - Neuroendocrine Cancer
New Jersey - Disability Awareness
Connecticut - Birth Defects
Massachusetts - Heart Awareness
New Hampshire - St. Jude Kids
Maine - Feeding America
And the journey continues from there as we make our way north.
Every Mile Has Meaning
Trail of Giving represents everything Wild Women Wanderers believes in -adventure, courage, community, service, and women supporting others. We aren't simply asking, "How many miles can we hike?" We're asking, "How much good can we do along the way?"
Follow our journey, support the causes, and help us turn footsteps into impact.
14 States. 14 Causes. One Trail. We wander with purpose.
